Glentress Forest

An area of plantation forest in the Scottish Borders, Glentress forest lies to the north of the River Tweed, 2 miles (3 km) east of Peebles. It was one of the first State Forests established in Scotland in the 1920s by the Forestry Commission and now benefits from a series of world-class mountain-biking trails.
