Gluss Isle

A peninsula that would be an island were it not for a tombolo connecting it to the E coast of the Northmavine peninsula of the Mainland of Shetland, Gluss Isle forms the eastern shore of Gluss Voe, a mile (1.5 km) south southeast of Ollaberry. Gluss Isle rises to 62m (203 feet) at Ramna Hill and faces out onto Yell Sound.
