Sgurr Alasdair

Sgurr Alasdair is located on the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye, in Highland Council. It is the highest peak on Skye rising to a height of 992m (3255 feet). Its name is derived from Gaelic and means "Alexander's Peak". It is named after Alexander Nicolson, who was native to Skye and was one of the earliest explorers of the Cuillin.
