Cawdor Wood

A woodland to the south of the village of Cawdor near Nairn in Highland Council Area, Cawdor Wood is one of the best examples of western oak woodland in the United Kingdom. Dominated by the Sessile Oak, it has a rich variety of Atlantic mosses, liverworts, ferns and holly.
