Located in E Fife, between St. Monans, a half-mile (0.8 km) to the west southwest, and Pittenweem, a mile (1.7 km) to the east northeast, St. Monans Windmill is situated on the Fife Coastal Path and is one of the few remaining windmills associated with the 19th Century salt industry. The windmill includes a display on this industry and provides a look-out point for visitors.
