The New Palace Theatre

Located within Greenlaw in the Scottish Borders, the New Palace Theatre was named after the former Palace Picture House in Edinburgh and housed a theatre pipe organ which was transplanted from Edinburgh. Home to the National Institute for Theatre Organ Studies and the Scottish Theatre Organ Preservation Society (STOPS), founded in 1972. The building now houses two organs, a small cinema pipe organ, but with the largest console of any in Europe, and a larger orchestral pipe organ as well as the Institute's archives.
