Former Barrack Street Museum

Located in Barrack Street in Dundee City Centre, the Barrack Street Museum is a natural history museum highlighting Scottish wildlife. It houses the skeleton of the Tay Whale, a humpback whale that swam up the River Tay in 1883. An adjoining Gallery offers space for temporary exhibits.

This museum is presently closed, serving as a store for Dundee Museums and Art Galleries.
