Falkirk Museums Service Workshop and Store

Located on the Abbotsinch Industrial Estate in NE Grangemouth, the Falkirk Museums Service Workshop and Store is regularly open to the public and hold a large collection of items which cannot be displayed at the three Falkirk museums; namely Callendar House (Falkirk), the Grangemouth Museum, lying a half-mile (1 km) to the northwest and the Kinneil Museum in Bo'ness. The collection incorporates agricultural and industrial machinery, vehicles, archaeological artefacts, science and technology, items relating to the nearby iron foundries at Carron, weapons, coins and medals, and costumes and textiles. Visitors can see a Falkirk tram dating from 1931 and undergoing restoration.
