Gracefield Arts Centre

Located on Edinburgh Road, to the northeast of Dumfries town centre, the Gracefield Arts Centre is a large B-listed red-sandstone villa which is home to a collection of more than 400 works by major 19th and 20th century Scottish artists, including E.A. Hornel (1864 - 1933), Jessie M. King (1875 - 1949), the Faed brothers and Alan Davie (b.1922).

It also provides temporary exhibition space for a changing programme of contemporary exhibitions featuring artists and craftmakers with local, national and international reputations. The grounds of the centre house a sculpture garden.
