Highland Museum of Childhood

The Highland Museum of Childhood is located in the old Victorian railway station in Strathpeffer, Highland. The station was built in 1855 to bring the wealthy to the spa resort of Strathpeffer.

The museum is dedicated to the childhood of those children born in the rural and urban Highlands. It illustrates life for the children and in particular education, homelife, birth and baptism, toys and games, folklore and festivals, and health and disease. The museum houses the Angela Kellie Doll and Toy Collection, as well as a collection of children's costumes.
