Largs Museum

Located on Kirkgate Close in the town of the same name in North Ayrshire, the Largs Museum offers displays on the town and its surrounding area, local history, and families and famous people associated with the town. There are also displays on the special links between the town and Australia, and of the Royal Naval ship, HMS Largs. Opened in 1975, the museum is housed in Kirkgate House and a pair of adjoining weavers cottages. It is run by the Largs & District Historical Society.
