Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais

One of four peaks located north of Glen Strathfarrar and who are collectively known as the North Strathfarrar Ridge, Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais rises to a height of 1083m (3553 feet) and is located within the Highland Council area, on the border of the former counties of Inverness-shire and Ross and Cromarty. At this height it is distinctly higher than its neighbouring peaks. Its name originates from Gaelic and means "peak of the greenish grey corrie".
