Stromness Museum

Located in Stromness, Orkney and established in 1837 by The Orkney Natural History Society, the Stromness Museum has collections portraying the natural and maritime history of the islands, with emphasis on its ethnographic and archaeological collections. The museum is located in a renovated Victorian building, dating from the 1850s.
