Tangwick Haa Museum

(Tangwick Ha')

The Tangwick Haa Museum (occasionally Tangwick Ha') is located on Esha Ness in remote northwest of the Shetland Mainland in a house built by the Cheyne family in the late 17th Century. After falling into disrepair in the 19th century this typical Laird's house was restored by the Shetland Amenity Trust as a museum in 1988. Now run by the Tangwick Haa Trust, the museum is open daily and houses various artefacts and photographs relating to Northmavine.
