Seil Sound is the name of the water passage that lies between the island of Seil and the Scottish mainland. Characterised by sandbanks, this strait narrows considerably and is crossed by the Clachan Bridge (alternatively known as the Bridge over the Atlantic Ocean) to the north of Clachan-Seil.
