North Sound

A channel at the mouth of Gunnister Voe on the west coast of the Northmavine district of Shetland, the North Sound contains the Isle of Gunnister and connects to the South Sound at the Isle of Nibon. Another North Sound lies at the mouth of Mangaster Voe 2½ miles (4 km) to the south southeast.
