A sandbank in the Firth of Tay, My Lord's Bank lies close to the northern shore, immediately to the west of the Tay Railway Bridge and 1½ miles (2.5 km) west southwest of Dundee city centre. Exposed at low tide, seals can regularly be seen basking here.
