A channel linking Loch Eil and Loch Linnhe in the West Highlands, The Narrows separates Ardgour from Lochaber, a mile (1.6 km) west of Corpach and 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Fort William. It is approximately 200m (700 feet) wide and is a mile (1.7 km) in length. A modest ferry crossed here in the 19th C.
