Black Hill

Black Hill, 2 miles (3 km) east of Blackwood in South Lanarkshire, is the site of a Bronze-Age burial cairn and an Iron-Age fortress occupying a strategic site offering views along the valley of the River Clyde. The hill rises to 290m (951 feet). The site is now in the care of the National Trust for Scotland.
