Hogganfield Loch Park

Located in the area known as Hogganfield, Hogganfield Loch Park is situated in the northeast of the City of Glasgow. The land was acquired by the city in 1920, covers an area of 48 ha (119 acres) and provides recreational facilities such as boating, bowling and football. Hogganfield Loch is the most important site in Glasgow City for migrant and wintering birds, with more than one hundred different species being recorded.
