A lochan lying between Lamington Hill and Broad Hill in South Lanarkshire, Cowgill Loch is located 1¼ miles (2 km) east southeast of Lamington. It is the source of the Key Cleuch, which after a half-mile (0.9 km) falls into the Cow Gill.
