Medwin Water

One of two connected but distinct rivers in South Lanarkshire of this name, this Medwin Water is formed by the confluence of the South Medwin with the North Medwin. Barely 1¼ miles (2 km) in length, it flows westward to join the River Clyde at a point a mile (1.5 km) south of Carnwath known as The Meetings.
