Weaver's Cottage

Located on Wellwynd in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, the Weaver's Cottage Museum highlights the hand-loom weaving tradition of Airdrie and has been created from two derelict weavers cottages which date from c.1780. Although no longer used by weavers since the mid-19th century, the cottages remained as dwelling houses until 1968. Displays on weaving are given by staff and there is also a temporary exhibit space.

This museum is currently closed.
