Hamilton Services

A small service area on the west side the M74 motorway in South Lanarkshire, Hamilton Services lies opposite Strathclyde Loch, a half-mile (1 km) north northeast of Hamilton and 1½ miles (2.5 km) west of Motherwell. The station represents a single site, accessible only to north-bound vehicles. Its equivalent south-bound service area is Bothwell, 2 miles (3 km) to the north northwest. Opened in 1974, this service station is operated by RoadChef and includes a shop, restaurant and coffee-shop.
