Linn Park

An area of parkland in Glasgow, Linn Park lies to the south of the River Clyde on the White Cart River north of Clarkston. The majority of the park was acquired by Glasgow City Corporation in 1919, with additional areas being added in 1927 and 1933 to make this park the second largest in the city with an area of 82 ha (203 acres). Today, the park comprises a mix of traditional formal gardens, river-bank and woodland with nature trails. The remains of the 15th-century Cathcart Castle lie within the park, together with the Linn Equestrian Centre and a Countryside Ranger Centre.
