Pressmennan Loch
(Pressman Loch; Pressmennan Lake)

A narrow man-made loch of East Lothian, Pressmennan (also Pressman) Loch (or Pressmennan Lake) lies in a steep ravine at the eastern end of the Lammermuir Hills, a mile (1.5 km) southeast of Stenton. Created in 1819, the reservoir is 1¼ miles (2 km) in length and surrounded by mixed woodland, part of which is said to represent one of the last traces of Scotland's ancient native woodland.
