Raiders Road, The

The Raiders Road is the name given to a 10 mile (16 km) forestry road in Dumfries and Galloway that links the Queen's Way (A712) with the A762 road near Mossdale. The route was popularised by the writer S R Crockett in his novel 'The Raiders', a story of castle rustling and Border intrigue.
