Ben Loyal
(Beinn Laoghall)

A significant mountain massif of N Sutherland, Ben Loyal (Gael: Beinn Laoghall) comprises at least eight tops, rising to a height of 764m (2507 feet) at An Caisteal and thus reaching the criterion of a Corbett. Known as the 'Queen of Scottish Mountains', Ben Loyal is located 2 miles (3 km) west of Loch Loyal and 5 miles (8 km) south of the settlement of Tongue.
