Wells of the Rees

A location on the Southern Uplands Way between the Tarf Water and Craigmoddie Fell, Dumfries and Galloway, the Wells of the Rees are possibly of religious significance on the old pilgrimage route to Glenluce Abbey and Whithorn. Three dome-shaped dry-stone structures cover wells where water seeps from the ground.
