Loch Gelly

A shallow loch lying a mile (1.5 km) southeast of the settlement of Lochgelly and 2½ miles (4 km) east northeast of Cowdenbeath in Fife, Loch Gelly is noted for its bird-life, watersports and fishing for perch, pike and roach. The loch measures approximately ¾ mile (1.2 km) east-west by a half-mile (0.8 km) north-south.
