Valley of the Tyne Water at Crichton

The Tyne Water is the name given to the upper reaches of the River Tyne. Rising in the northern slopes of the Moorfoot Hills, the Tyne Water flows north and east, passing the settlements of Tynehead, Pathhead and Ormiston before joining the Birns Water at Pencaitland where it becomes the River Tyne.
