Minish Island


(Eilean Mhidhinis)

A small drying island in the Outer Hebrides, Minish Island (Gael: Eilean Mhidhinis) is the largest of several small islands which separates Loch Minish from Loch Blashaval in the E of North Uist, a mile (1.5 km) north of Strumore and 1½ miles (2.5 km) north northwest of Lochmaddy. It is uninhabited.
