A rock-trimmed peninsula on the south coast of North Uist in the Western Isles, Liernish (Gael: Liernis) is situated 1¼ miles (2 km) east of Claddach Carinish. A mile (1.7 km) in length and a half-mile (0.8 km) at its widest point, it is bordered by the narrow inlets of Oban an Innseanaich and Oban nam Muca-mara.
