Meall Buidhe

A Munro peak located 2 miles (3 km) north of the dam of Loch an Daimh in Perth and Kinross, Meall Buidhe marks the highest point (at 932m / 3058 feet) on the ridge running between Glen Lyon and Loch Rannoch. The summit is found towards the north end of the ridge. The name comes from the Gaelic for 'black hill'. Another mountain named Meall Buidhe lies 5½ miles (9 km) to the southwest.
