Claddach Vallay

(Cladach Bhàlaigh)

An area of foreshore on the north coast of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Claddach Vallay (Gael: Cladach Bhàlaigh) overlooks Vallay Strand a mile (1.6 km) west southwest of Malaclate. A rough track that crosses this area of land gives access to a route across the sand which permits vehicles to reach the island of Vallay at low tide.
