Barney Hill

One of the Garleton Hills of East Lothian, Barney Hill rises to 181m (593 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) southeast of Skid Hill, 1¼ miles (2 km) north of Haddington. There are communications masts on its wooded summit, while on its western flank are cliffs known as the Yellow Crags. There is a sizeable Iron-Age hill-fort located at Kae Heughs, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) to the northeast of the hill.
