Grant Park

A public park located in the centre of Forres (Moray), Grant Park represents part of the policies of the former Forres House. The property was purchased for the people of Forres by biscuit-manufacturer Sir Alexander Grant (1864 - 1937), and was named in his honour. The house was destroyed by fire in 1971 and it is now the site of a fine sunken garden. Nelson Tower (1812) lies on the summit of Cluny Hill in the wooded northeast of the park.
