A stream which rises in the vicinity of Loch of Liff farm in E Perth and Kinross, the Liff Burn flows south through Liff and Gray Den, where it crosses the boundary into Dundee City. It falls into the Fowlis Burn a half-mile (0.8 km) southeast of Benvie, having completed a course of 1½ miles (2.5 km).
