An elongated summit located on the Highland Boundary Fault in Central Stirling Council Area, Letter Hill rises to 400m (1312 feet) immediately to the southeast of Ben Gullipen, a mile (1.8 km) south of the eastern end of Loch Venachar and 2 miles (3 km) north northeast of Port of Menteith. Its southeastern slopes are cloaked with plantation forest.
