The highest point on the island group of Out Skerries in Shetland, Bruray Ward rises to 53m (173 feet) at the centre of the eastern island of Bruray, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) north northeast of the island's harbour. A remarkable man-made channel curves around the hill to collect water for the island's reservoir. The Out Skerries Airstrip is located on its southern slopes.
