A small uninhabited island off the west coast of Shetland, Bulta lies between Oxna and Cheynies, 3 miles (5 km) west southwest of Scalloway, forming one of the Scalloway Islands. It rises steeply to 25m (82 feet) above sea level. It is separated from Bulta Skerry by Bulta Sound. The island is unnamed on Ordnance Survey maps.
