A point on the eastern side of South Ness on the Shetland Mainland, Twageos Point extends into Bressay Sound a half-mile (1 km) southeast of the centre of Lerwick. A squat circular light beacon was established here by the Commissioners of the Northern Lighthouses in 1908.
