A stream which rises as drainage ditches in forest plantations between Dalgety Bay and Aberdour in W Fife, the Keithing Burn (often, but erroneously, referred to as the Inverkeithing Burn) flows west receiving the Fordell Burn before turning south at Inverkeithing East railway junction. It then flows through the town of Inverkeithing to fall into the Inner Bay of Inverkeithing Bay a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south of Inverkeithing Station.
