Buckieburn Reservoir

A small reservoir retained by an earth embankment dam in the Dundaff Hills of S of Stirling Council Area, Buckieburn is located a mile (1.6 km) west of Coulter Reservoir and 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Stirling. Opened in 1905 for the supply of drinking-water, it is now operated by Scottish Water and covers an area of 15 ha (37 acres).
