Craignafeoch Reservoirs

(Craignafeich Reservoir)

A pair of small reservoirs on the course of the Craignafeoch Burn on the Cowal peninsula of Argyll and Bute, the Craignafeoch Reservoirs (or Craignafeich Reservoir) lie 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Tighnabruaich and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) north northwest of Millhouse. Retained by concrete dams the reservoirs opened in 1972. They operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and cover an area of 6.4 ha (15 acres).
