Haining Loch

A small natural water body within The Haining estate, a half-mile (0.8 km) south of the centre of Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. The Haining lies next to Selkirk Castle on the north shore. The level of the loch was lowered in 1661 to improve the outlook from the house.
