Scottish National Equestrian Centre

The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is a state-of-the-art venue for horse-related sports which opened in 2007 on the SRUC Oatridge Campus at Ecclesmachan (West Lothian). The £8.5-million complex boasts facilities including an 80m x 40m international 400-seater arena, a 60m x 25m warm-up arena, 110m x 80m outdoor turf arena, 6-furlong (1.2-km) all-weather gallops, and cross-country course. In addition, the Centre provides stabling for up to 100 horses, accommodation for 200 people and full catering and conference facilities. The Patron is HRH The Princess Royal and the Centre also supports Oatridge Campus courses in equine studies, farriery and forgework.
