A former reservoir which was located on Polvinister Road above Oban in Argyll and Bute, Polvinister Reservoir was operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water. This small reservoir was drained and the earth embankment dam removed in 2012 due to safety concerns. The original course of the stream was restored.
