Margreig Hill

A northeastern shoulder of Bennan in central Dumfries and Galloway, Margreig Hill rises to approximately 247m (810 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) south of Margreig and 2½ miles (4 km) northwest of Shawhead. Looking out across Glenkiln Reservoir, just below the summit, is The Glenkiln Cross (or Upright Motive No. 1) by Henry Moore, one of the Glenkiln Sculptures.
