Gairbheinn is located in the Monadhliath Mountains of the central Highlands, 10 miles (16 km) east of Invergarry. Rising to 896 m (2939 feet), this is a sharp peak by Monadhliath standards. Standing guard at the southern end of the Corrieyairack Pass, its summit is marked with a cairn.
